Fall!

Sunday, October 19, we visited Dickey Farms in Tontitown for pumpkins and a hay ride!

And on October 20, Noah had a day off from school for Parent/ Teacher conferences, while KDO was still in session for Gray.  Rare opportunity for Mommy & Noah adventures!  We headed to the Ozark Botanical Gardens, despite the cool, wet weather, and had such a great morning!

Sink Baths Are the Best.

Noah's First Day of Kindergarten

On August 19, 2014, our family began a new phase: elementary school!  Don't get me started on how I can't believe it.

Reunited with old friends!

His teacher emailed us this photo from the first day.  Love being part of a small school!

Gray's First Haircut

Oh, stop the cuteness already!  On July 14th, I took Gray in for his first trim at Pigtails & Crewcuts in Fayetteville.  (Seriously makes me miss our Cedar Park location where Noah had so many of his cuts.)  Gray sat in my lap for the actual cut and then I sat him in the fire engine seat for pictures, which he loved.  He did so well!  No tears for this dude.  And we left with a token photograph and lock of hair.

Fourth of July 2014

We were the newest kids on the block at the neighborhood 4th of July spectacular!  It was a day full of festivities.  We started with a bike parade around the main drag, a hot dog cook-out at the pool, firecrackers and sparklers in the evening, finishing the day off with a real fireworks display in an empty lot in the neighborhood!  Noah was exhausted but had a blast!  (I still can't get over the lack of laws governing firework displays in Arkansas, but will probably appreciate this better when they aren't waking my sleeping baby.  Mama missed the show. :)

Ready for the bike parade!

And he's off!

Some of the cute kiddos from the 'hood.

Swim 2014

Noah went through two 2-week sessions of swim lessons this summer.  And they were SO needed.  Mrs. Dana did a tremendous job with this cautious boy at her house in Rogers.

These pics are from Day 1, which quickly went south after they were taken.  Refused to even get his eyes wet and begged to go home.  Mama panicked a bit.  But by the end of the first session, we had a little fish on our hands, swimming under water, sitting on the bottom of the pool, and even jumping off the diving board!  So proud of him. :)

Looking forward to going back next summer!
