Like a Fish. Sort of.

Noah took 3 private and 4 semi-private swim lessons in July this year with Mrs. Carroll.  The semi-private lessons included his buddies, Parker and Liam.  Noah enjoyed them and Mrs. Carroll did a great job with him.

Noah was a little more willing to do what was asked him (like jumping off the side and getting his eyes wet) during the private lessons, which surprised me.  Peer pressure just made him dig in his heels.  (I think he gets that from his Mimi :) But, literally the day after swim lessons ended, Noah went to a birthday party and started jumping in alone and going underwater a bit.  Go figure!

First Day of Pre-K

Skipping ahead a bit...will finish out the summer adventures later.  More pressing things in our world  right now! :)

Noah started Pre-K last week on Friday, August 23rd!  He attends preschool 3 days a week, a full day, and so far is loving it!

First morning pics.  Noah pulled out his inner model. :)

Hamming it up a bit.

Seriously ready.

Big bag to haul.  I'm sad that he can't use his cute little backpack though.

Waiting to get this show on the road.

Lined up to walk back to the classroom together.
Putting his bag in his cubby.
I'm really excited about this year and the school's curriculum.  Our boy likes lots of activity and busyness, so I think school might be a relief for him after so many days at home with Mommy and Gray.  :)  I think he will learn so much, have a lot of fun, and is in loving, gifted hands with the faculty here.  And I think he'll be well-prepped to move right into full days of kindergarten!  Thankful!

Titus Gray at 2 Months

I just love this guy.  He is such a mama's boy and I am eating it up because before long, he will become a devoted follower of Daddy just like big brother, I am sure. :)

For the most part, he is pretty laid-back and super sweet.  Just don't let him get tired or hungry.  A champion eater (though it took about the first 2 months to really get past all the nursing pains), spitter-upper, and sleep prizefighter.
All business.
Posing in his outfit from Cookie.  Too cute.

Stink face.

Are you crazy?

Photo bomb by Noah.

Another photo bomb by Noah but I can't resist the expression.

As you can see, there is a lot to love with our little guy! :)

The Austin Steam Train

Livin' the dream.  Noah finally got to ride the train that sits parked in Cedar Park all week long, the one that we have used to distract/bribe him while visiting the blood draw lab and dentist office.  (It stays parked in the same shopping center as these two offices.  Very conveniently, I might add.)  But on the weekends, this big steam train comes to life and hauls folks out to the big Texas town of Bertram and back.  So, Mimi & Papa decided that Noah was finally old enough and that this would make a nice summer outing!

So excited!

The souvenir stand in Bertram.  Do you think he picked out a new train?  Yep, he did.

And he brought home a sweet little wooden train for Gray.  Which Mommy soon confiscated so that it will be in nice condition for Gray to have someday. :)

Cute.

We can't wait for the North Pole Express in December!
