We're Nutts About Austin!

Well finally!  After two foiled attempts, the Nutt family finally visited the Barclays in our latest location, November 8-11 !  We had a blast, and as always, there are way too many pictures.  Sorry for the random order, I just don't want to rearrange them chronologically.  Most photos courtesy of Stacie. :)

We needed plenty of kid-happy activities to keep Bar-Nutt children busy!  So we headed out to Marble Falls and visited Sweet Berry Farm's pumpkin patch.  Fun was had by all!

To get the train ride and hay ride, you cross under the main road in a tunnel!

Lots of pictures of the zinnia fields!

Walking through archways covered with gords.

The train ride.

Multiple country songs involving tractors come to mind.

Checking out a furry little caterpillar.

Hay ride time!

Homemade strawberry popsicles.

We had one adult, out-on-the-town evening and partied it up on the infamous 6th Street.  Partied til the break of 9:00pm that is. ;)
Dinner on the roof of the Iron Cactus.

Pictures inside a little bar that I don't remember the name of.

A brief tour of The Driskill Hotel.

Viewing the Capitol.  Notice the Nutt silhouettes.

Waiting for dessert at Hey Cupcake!, along the famous strip of South Congress food trailers.

Oh yes, Stacie did get the 6-pack!

Amy's Ice Cream is seriously the best.  And I'm not biased.  We visited them with the kids after lunch earlier in the trip.
And the kids had a fun evening playing with Mrs. Sam!

Jeremy, getting a feel for two. ;)
We headed down to get the true Zilker Park experience, only to find that the Zephyr was closed due to tunnel repair.  But we still enjoyed the playground, scoped out Barton Springs, and walked along the river.

These kids had a ball together.

And so did the big kids!

Fun getting their toes wet!

They got to sit on the train, even if it was out of operation.

He loves "Ryrie."

Love.

Food trailer stop.

Introduced them to Torchy's Tacos.
Kiddos got sand everywhere!
We did a little back porch sittin'.
It was great hanging out, sharing our stomping grounds, and watching our kids enjoy one another!
